Tic-Tac-Toe Lab · No Arrays
A working two-player Tic-Tac-Toe game. This version doesn't use any lists/arrays on purpose — every cell is tracked individually so you can focus on functions and conditional logic first. Fill in the missing code in code.js, one TODO at a time.
Try each TODO yourself first. If you get stuck, use the hint button for that spot — hints start vague and get more specific. The last hint is the literal answer.
⏱ Hints are on a shared 30-second timer. Asking for a hint anywhere locks every hint button on the page — there's no dodging the wait by jumping to a different blank.
Once your game works, trace through these by hand — don't just click around in the game to find the answer. You get one attempt per question, so think before you pick.
