Road Races are a great way to get many people to exercise. The give casual runners an opportunity to run in races with professionals! Running has taken off in the past few years and as it gains more participants it can lead to healthier communities. Running allows runners to be social in running clubs. Many runners run in races like 5k, 10k, half marathon and even the 26.2 mile marathon!
Many new runners and even seasoned runners often run to fast at the beginning of races and then they run very slow when they get tired. It is known that people run their best races when they run an even pace every mile. Most runners have a goal time and they know the distance but they do not know how fast to start.
We will give a team of runners who may be running different races the ability to run the correct pace. To calculate the pace we need to divide the time the runner wants to run divided by the distance of the race.
Format: in the "data" box, enter each runner's numbers as distance, time pairs, separated by commas (e.g. 8, 26.4, 7, 60 is one runner racing 8 miles in 26.4 minutes, and a second running 7 miles in 60 minutes).
